DNA, Diet and Mental Health, by Food for the Brain

  • Livewire Kitchen 1-45 Durham Street London, England, SE11 5JH United Kingdom (map)

Discover how our genes can play a unique role in our susceptibility to poor mental health.

Understanding biochemical individuality through genetic analysis has become increasingly popular in the health industry, enabling more, personalised and effective approaches to mental health, as well as mood balancing, motivation, learning and memory.

Emma will discuss the importance of looking at genetics in context - considering gene-to-gene and gene-environment interactions. She will present examples of genetic variances that can increase vulnerability to symptoms of low mood, anxiety, anger and most importantly what nutritional approaches can be adopted to support them.
